Victoria M. (Minichiello) Powers, 76,

 Victoria M. (Minichiello) Powers, 76, of Milford, died Monday, April 11, 2011 in the Countryside Healthcare in Milford. She was the wife of the late Richard A. Powers Sr. who died in 2008. She was born in Boston, daughter of the late Raphael and Angelina (Cappuccio) Minichiello and lived in Boston most of her life before moving to Milford in 1988. Mrs. Powers was a graduate of the Roxbury Memorial Schools class of 1953. She retired from the Boston Public Schools where she was employed for 32 years. She was employed part-time at the Milford Stop and Shop.  She was a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, a Eucharistic Minister at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, a volunteer CCD teacher at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and a member of the Sacred Heart Women’s Club.              She is survived by two sons Richard A. Powers Jr. of Bellingham, Michael J. Powers of Peabody, two daughters Debra Powers of Pembroke, Michele Lemier of Milford, five grandchildren, Gregory Powers and Leah Powers both of Milford, Joseph Powers, Nicole Powers and Matthew Powers all of Peabody, many nieces and nephews.           She was predeceased by her brothers Anthony Minichiello, Albert Minichiello Fred Minichiello, George Minichiello and Richard Minichiello.   The funeral will be held Friday April 15, 2011 at 8 A.M. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 A.M. in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 7 East Main St. in Milford. Burial will follow in the in the Sacred Heart Cemetery on Medway Rd. in Milford. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 2 to 9 P.M.
