Helen M. (Connor) Wingert, 74, of Milford, died Sunday, May 22, 2011 in her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Edward Wingert Jr. who died in 1998. She was born in Tarrytown NY, daughter of the late Edward and Helen (Burd) Connor and lived in Holliston, Cape Cod, South Carolina and moved to Milford in 1999. She was a graduate of the Irvington High School in West Irvington NY class of 1955. She retired in 1985 from Selectronics in Holliston. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, crossword puzzles and was an avid golfer. She is survived by three sons Richard Wingert and Liz Criss of Grand Island NY, Edward and his wife Elizabeth Wingert of Bellingham, Kenneth Wingert of Grand Island NY, one brother John Connor of Newbern NC, four grandchildren Kimberly Kerswell of Millbury, Amber Wingert of Boston, Kevin Wingert and Tyler Wingert both of Baltimore MD, two great-grandchildren Kaylee Kerswell and Ryan Kerswell both of Millbury. She was predeceased by her brothers George Connor and Ralph Connor and her sister June Myers. A mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. in the St. Mary’s Church, 8 Church St. in Holliston MA. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St. Milford.
