Marilyn R. (Ross) Gaudette, 68,

Marilyn R. (Ross) Gaudette, 68, of Milford, died peacefully, surrounded by her family, Tuesday, August 16, 2011, in her home. She was the wife of Richard P. Gaudette of 45 years. She was born in Spencer daughter of the late Lincoln and Ruth (Burkill) Ross as well as the step-daughter of  Roy Smith. She was a graduate of David Prouty High School in Spencer and also received a BS in education at Bridgewater State College. Mrs. Gaudette was a teacher in the Natick and Mansfield School systems, working mainly with kindergarten and first grade students. Later she was a top sales associate with Princess House products. Marilyn also worked as an administrative assistant at Mass Mutual. Most recently she served as administrative assistant for the director at the Elizabeth Seton Residence in Wellesley Ma which she greatly enjoyed.           Marilyn enjoyed spending time with her family at the lake house in East Brookfield as well as traveling and sewing. From 1972-1983 she was a seamstress designing all costumes for shows put on by the Natick drama Workshop. She had also been a cub scout leader for her sons and was actively involved with the Milford Couples Club for many years. In addition to her husband she is survived two sons Brian Gaudette and his wife Deborah Fuller DMD of Wakefield RI, Keith Gaudette and his wife Jennifer of Marlboro, one sister Christine King and her husband David of East Orleans, one brother David Ross and his wife Karen of Worcester, an uncle Milton Ross of corona del Mar CA, five grandchildren, Eric, Alexa, Mason, Max and Emerson, many nieces and nephews. A funeral home service will be held Sunday at 10 A.M. in the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. There will be a private burial at the request of the family. Calling hours are Saturday from 4 to 8 P.M.. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen St. Framingham MA 01701
