Adele B. “Lee” (Morte) Tamagni, 97, of Milford died peacefully on Tuesday, August 16, 2011, at Milford Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of Frank J. Tamagni who died in 2003. Mrs. Tamagni was a lifelong resident of Milford and graduated from Milford High School in 1932. She was the daughter of the late Domenic and Laura (Muccini) Morte. Mrs. Tamagni was employed at Bickford Shoe in Milford, General Electric Telechron and Fenwall Inc. in Ashland, as an assembler. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Adele was an accomplished seamstress and an avid artist. Everyone loved Grandma’s traditional Italian family famous ravioli, pasetelli, capeletti, and her flair for making “navels.” She is survived by three sons, Rex Tamagni and his wife Angela (Ferrario) of Milford, Robert Tamagni and his wife Maryanne (Leblanc) of Upton, and Joseph Tamagni and his wife Susan (Zanella) of Orange, CT., and one daughter Veronica (Ronnie) Moore of Milford, two brothers, George Morte of Anaheim, CA., Dominic (Doc) Morte of Milford, and one sister, Phyllis D’Amico of Milford, 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother Gennaro (Spike) Morte, a brother-in-law, Dominic D’Amico and two sister-in-laws Dorothy (Dot) Morte and Jackie (Haddad) Morte. The funeral will be held Friday, August 19, at 9 a.m. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in the upper church of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main St. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery on Medway Rd. Calling hours are Thursday, August 18, 6 to 8 p.m.
