Christopher M. Parente, 58

Christopher M. Parente, 58, of Milford died Friday September 16, 2011 in his home. He was born in Boston, son of Francis “Babe” and former State Representative Marie (Longhi) Parente of Milford. Mr. Parente was a life long Milford resident. He was a graduate of the St. Mary’s Central Catholic High School class of 1970. He was a graduate of Babson College and received the degree, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1978. He was employed in sales in the Milford area. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife Susan Getz of Medway, a daughter Maryellen Getz of Milford, one sister Angela and her husband Atty. Charles Brucato of Milford, a nephew C.J Brucato and his wife Jennifer Nassour of Charlestown and a niece Lisa and her husband Christopher Burns of Milford. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, a former member of Troop #2 where he received the award of Eagle Scout. In his younger years Mr. Parente was a lead guitarist and composer. He loved music and enjoyed his family and many wonderful friends. The funeral will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at 9 A.M. from Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St Milford, MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church, 7 East Main Street, Milford. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery on Medway Road. Visiting hours are Monday from 4 to 8 P.M..
