Adaire M. “Dee Dee” (Blake) Fee, 78

 Adaire M. “Dee Dee” (Blake) Fee, 78, of Hopedale died on October 20, 2011 at home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Thomas Fee, to whom she was married for 58 years. Born in Everett, MA, February 6, 1933, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Senona (Perrine) Blake. She was a graduate of Chelsea High School, Chelsea, MA. Prior to moving to Hopedale in 1969 the family resided in Franklin. Dee Dee enjoyed playing golf and was statistician for two Women’s Leagues at the Hopedale Country Club for many years. She also enjoyed crocheting many afghans to share with friends and family, reading and painting. In addition to her husband she is survived by her children; Catherine Steeves of Uxbridge, Lauren Fleischer and her husband Andrew of Hopedale, Thomas Fee IV and his wife Robin (Pettis) of Holden, Susan Weber and her husband Jeff of Shrewsbury, Carolyn Kellett and her husband Albert of Northbridge, ten grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. She was the sister of; Laurence Blake of Bradenton, FL, Robert Blake of Melbourne, FL, Charles Blake of Saugus, MA, William Blake of Saugus, MA, and Dawn Macomber of New Port Richey, FL.  She was also the mother of the late Patricia Fee and mother-in-law of the late Peter Steeves. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 10 AM in the Hopedale Village Cemetery in Hopedale Ma. Calling hours will be held Monday from 5 to 8 PM. At the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St Milford MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to The Hospice of Worcester County, 120 Thomas Street, Worcester, MA 01608.
