Jowena F. (Scalzi) Brown, 73,

Jowena F. (Scalzi) Brown, 73, of Bellingham, died on November 15, 2011 in the Milford Care and Rehabilitation Center in Milford. She was the wife of the late George Brown who died in 1996. She was born in Milford, daughter of the late Palmerino and Eva (Pagnini) Scalzi and lived in Milford and Hopedale before moving to Bellingham in 2001. She was a graduate of the Hopedale High School class of 1956. Mrs. Brown is survived by one son Martin Swain of Bellingham, one daughter Sharon Miller of Newfane NY, one brother Robert and his wife Paula (Bresciani) Scalzi of Hopedale, five grandchildren, Joshua Miller of Niagara Falls NY, Jena Miller of Rochester NY, Kevin Swain of Bosotn, Megan Swain of Uxbridge, Donnie Sherman of Newfane NY, two nephews, Jeffrey Scalzi of Hanover and Michael Scalzi of Clarksburg MD. A mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 11 A.M. in the Sacred Heart Church on Hopedale St in Hopedale. Calling hours will be held prior to the mass from 9 to 10:30 AM in the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. Milford MA. Burial will follow in the Hopedale Village Cemetery in Hopedale Ma.
