Lewis Zani, 74

Lewis Zani, 74, of Milford, died Wednesday, December 7, 2011 in his home. He was born in Newton, son of the late Louis and Elanor ( Balboni ) Zani and lived in Hopkinton before moving to Milford. He was a graduate of the Hopkinton High school class of 1955. He was a member of the Paratroopers in the US Army. He retired in 1986 from the Fafard Corp. where he was employed as a supervisor. He was a member of the Bellingham V.F.W. Mr. Zani is survived by one son Lewis Zani of Milford, one daughter Wendy Lange of Dorchester, two brothers David Zani of Hopkinton, Thomas Zani of NY, four sisters Susan Zani, Elaine Zani, Eilleen Cummings and Joyce Zani all of Hopkinton, two grandchildren Frankie Lange and Gage Lange both of Dorchester. The funeral will be held Monday, December 12, 2011 at 9 A.M. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M. in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 7 East Main St. The burial will follow in the Vernon Grove Cemetery on Depot St. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 5 to 7 P.M.
