Joseph J. DiRosario, 82,

    Joseph J. DiRosario, 82, of Milford, died Saturday, October 27, 2012 in the Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Lena (Bonasoro) DiRosario who died in 2010. He was born in Franklin Ma son of the late Mary (Wilber) DiRosario and moved to Milford in 1956. He was a graduate of the Franklin High School class of 1949. He was a Korean War Army Veteran.
   Mr. DiRosario retired in 1993 from the Milford Housing Authority where he was employed as a mechanical engineer. Previously he was employed at the Betenger Corp. and the Claflin Hill Nursing Home.
   He is survived by his brother-in-law Samuel and his wife Cheryl (Wood) Bonasoro of Milford, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Louis DiRosario and Anthony Rosario.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at 11 A.M. at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St Milford Ma. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12 noon in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 7 East Main St. in Milford.
Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
   Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5 to 8 P.M.

I am sorry to learn of your loss. I came to know Joe while my aunt, Marion Taft, was a resident at Atria Draper Place. I always enjoyed chatting and joking with him - he was happy to sit and talk any time. My sympathies to his family and friends... he will truly be missed.
