Guido J. Alberto, 89,

    Guido J. Alberto, 89, of Milford, died Friday, November 30, 2012 in the Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Carolyn T. (Schwaab) Alberto who died in 1991. He was born in Milford, son of the late Frank and Julia (Gala) Alberto and was a life long Milford resident. He was a graduate of the Milford High School class of 1942. 
       Mr. Alberto was very patriotic and enlisted in the U.S. Navy while still in High School. He served in the Asiatic and Pacific Theaters and the American Campaign. He retired in 1974 from the Wellesley Post Office where he was employed as a letter carrier.
      He was an active member of the Forgiano club and a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
     He is survived by two daughters Linda Lyrist and Karen Alberto both of Milford, one brother Francis and his wife Barbara Alberto of West Hartford CT, two sisters Mary Ciaramicoli of Milford and Gloria DePaolo of Hopedale, a loving granddaughter Arianna Lyrist of Milford, many nieces and nephews. 
    He was predeceased by his brothers Joseph, Alberto, Michael Alberto, Frederick Alberto, Louis Alberto and Mario Alberto.
     The funeral will be held Friday, December 7, 2012 at 10 A.M. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St Milford Ma. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 A.M. in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 7 East Main St.     
     The burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford.
     Calling hours will be Thursday from 3 to 7 P.M.

Linda, Nick and Arianna, Im so so sorry to hear about Uncle Guido's passing. I remember he helped me with my science project on solar energy in th 8th grade and we got into the science fair!. May he rest in peace with Aunt Carol, Grandma and Grandpa.
