Rose Louise (Milani) Crivello, 100,

Rose Louise (Milani) Crivello, 100, passed away on July 24, 2023, at Countryside Healthcare in Milford after a period of declining health and just 33 days after celebrating her 100th birthday.  She was the beloved wife of Sebastian “Buster” Crivello who passed away in 1971. Rose is survived by her two sons. COL (Ret.) Richard Crivello and his wife Cheryl of Millville, MA and their twins, Stephanie of West Columbia, SC, and Nicholas of East Boston, MA. Edward Crivello and his wife Fernanda of Franklin, MA and their children, Matthew of Boston, MA, and Christina of Medford, MA. Rose is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews from the Milani, Crivello, D’Alessandro, and Loeper families.

Born in Milford, MA in 1923 to the late Enrico and Louise Milani and spent her entire life living on Short Street in the Plains section of Milford.  She was predeceased by her 6 brothers, Peter, Alfred, Enrico, Frank, Angelo, and Louis Milani. Rose was a 1941 graduate of Milford High School and in her younger years worked in the office at the Archer Rubber Factory.

Along with being a homemaker, she helped at her husband’s business S.E. Crivello Store on Depot Street which later became Crivello’s Crossing. In later years, she worked at the former Sherman’s Pontiac/Cadillac and the Foster-Forbes Glass Company from where she retired. She was active in retirement where she enjoyed the Senior Bowling League, the Silver Sneakers Walking Club, the Red Hats Society, senior bus trips to Foxwoods, and was an active, long-time member of the Sacred Heart Women’s Club.

In her later years she also enjoyed an active life at The Residences at Whitcomb House and Cornerstone Assisted Living in Milford. Rose took on her role as a loving Gramma with great enthusiasm and pride. Her many years of caring for and entertaining her grandchildren in the family home on Short Street gave her much pleasure, but more importantly gave her grandchildren wonderful memories of a cherished and fun Gramma.  She will be deeply missed and always remembered with love and gratitude.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. on Friday, July 28 2023 at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St. Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 A.M. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 5 East Main St. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery on Medway Rd.

Dear Richard and Cheryl and your beautiful twins, Eddie and your famiky, I want to offer my heartfelt wishes to all of you. Rose was a beautiful “lady”and we enjoyed her when she came to the office. She appeared so happy always, she still joked with us up to her recent visit.
