Florence E. (Porzio) Belforti, 96

Florence E. (Porzio) Belforti, 96, of Milford, died June 16, 2013, at the Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of Frederick P. Belforti for 72 years. She was born in Milford, daughter of the late Giovani and Theresa (Cristella) Porzio. She was a graduate of the Milford High School class of 1934. She retired in 1978 from Porter Shoe in Milford, where she had worked as a stamper. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, and the Sacred Heart Women’s Club. In addition to her husband she is survived by her son Frederick P. Belforti of Quakertown, PA, and her sister Mary Villani of Milford. Her Funeral Service will be held from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water Street, Milford, Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 9 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main St., Milford. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Friday evening from 5-8 PM.
