Jerome (Hieronim) Kunikowski, 77
Jerome (Hieronim) Kunikowski, 77, of Bellingham, where he has lived for 4 years, died June 18, 2013, at the Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Helen A. (Nipcon) Kunikowski, whom passed in 2012. Born in Poznan, Poland, he was the son of the late Feliks and Jadwiga (Kaczmarek) Kunikowski. He came to the U.S. in 1960, and settled in East Schodack, NY. He retired in 1995 from the East Greenbush Central Schools, where he worked in the maintainance for 10 years, and had formerly worked at Tobin Packing Co., in Albany for many years. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his family and grandchildren, and was a former member of the Polish American Club in Albany. He was the father of Jerome E. Kunikowski of Bellingham, and Teresa R. Graceffa and her husband Mark of Milford. Brother of the late Celina Kwaitkowski and Helen West, he is also survived by his three grandchildren, Jason, Brady, and Preston, as well as several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 10AM at Our Lady of the Americas Church, 273 Central Ave., Albany, NY, with burial following in Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery. Visiting hours at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water Street, Milford, MA, will be on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 4-7PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701
