Raymond E. Bergeron, 62

Raymond E. Bergeron, 62, of Milford, died June 19, 2013, at the Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of Elaine M. (Lamento) Bergeron for 34 years. Born in Milford, he was the son of the late William and Florence (Couteau) Bergeron. He was raised in Linwood, and had formerly worked at Shadowbrook Apartments in Milford in maintenance. He had also served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brothers, Ronald Bergeron of Linwood, William Bergeron of Woonsocket, RI, Leo Bergeron of AZ, Albert Bergeron of Millville, Ernest Bergeron of Douglas, Richard Bergeron of Fitchburg, David Bergeron of Linwood, and Joseph Bergeron of AL, his sisters Beatrice King of Douglas, Theresa Dion of Douglas, Dorothy Thompson of Linwood, and the late Doris Chippo. Also survived by his sister-in-laws, Linda Melanson of Milford and Janet Cheerington of Webster, brother-in-law Eugene Lamento of Paxton, and many nieces and nephews Relatives and friends may gather at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water Street, Milford, on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 9 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main St., Milford. Burial will be held at a later date. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday morning from 8:30-9:30AM, prior to the Funeral. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Raymond’s memory may be made to his loving wife.
