Jenny Y. (Leo) Oliveri, 92

    Jenny Y. (Leo) Oliveri, 92, of Milford, passed away, Tuesday, December 17, 2013, in Blaire House of Milford. She was the wife of the late Leo E. Oliveri who passed away in 1994.
     She was born in Milford, daughter of the late Leonardo and Amelia (Bertoli) Leo and was a lifelong Milford resident.  She was a graduate of the Milford High School class of 1939.
     Mrs. Oliveri was employed for many years at the General Electric/Telecron in Ashland and the Milford Library.    She enjoyed playing cards, Maj Jong, Bowling and spending time with her family and many friends. She also loved to cook and enjoyed baking for her friends and family. She was a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and a member of the Sacred Heart Women’s Club for over 70 years, where she served twice as secretary. She was also a member of the Greater Milford Heartline where she served as secretary for over ten years. 
     She is survived by her children, Jennifer and her husband Bruce Dearborn, Leonora Oliveri, Leonard J. and his wife Karen (Johnson) Oliveri all of Milford, three grandchildren, Lisa Oliveri of Milford, Christina Oliveri of Bogotá, Columbia, and Michael Oliveri of Chestnut Hill, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Leonardo “Rocco” Leo, Paul Leo, William “Skeets” Colanti, and her sisters Bertha Toppa, Federica Cavazza Lena Sherillo and Mary Smith. 
     A mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, December 20, 2013 at 11 A.M. in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 7 East Main St Milford.  The burial will follow in the parish cemetery. 
    Calling hours will be held Friday morning prior to funeral mass from 8:30 to 10:30 A.M. at the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. Milford MA.
