Lucinda D. (Roxo) Sebastiao, 94,

    Lucinda D. (Roxo) Sebastiao, 94, of Milford , passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013, at St. Patrick’s Manor in Framingham surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Adriano M. Sebastiao, who died in 2002. She was born in Ludlow MA , daughter of the late Antonio and Adelina (Dias) Roxo, and lived in Ludlow and Portugal . 
    She was educated in Portugal , and came to Milford in 1937. Mrs. Sebastiao retired in 1976 from the former Draper Corporation in Hopedale, where she was employed as a core maker. She was also employed at the former Milford Shoe Company and the Blaire House of Milford . 
     She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and spending time with her family. She was a communicant of the St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church . 
    She is survived by her children, Gracinda Bigelow of Littleton, NH and Thomas Sebastiao and his wife Colleen of Milford; one brother, Domingos Roxo of Milford, and two sisters, Alice Sebastiao and Maria Barroso of Milford; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Hixon and his wife Erica of Boxford, Adrienne Backer and her husband John of Berlin, NH, and Kristy Sebastiao and Brooke (Sebastiao) Earl and her husband Kevin, all of Milford; and four great-grandchildren, Maya, Kalliope and Devlin Hixon of Boxford, and Kendall Earl of Milford, many nieces and nephews.
      She was predeceased by her daughter, Ilda Sebastiao, a brother, Amadeu Roxo, and a sister, Aldina Gomes. 
    The funeral will be held Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 9 A.M. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St. , Milford , MA. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 A.M. at the St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church , Winter St., Milford , MA .
     Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. 
    Calling hours will be held Friday from 5 to 7 P.M. 
     The family would like to thank St. Patrick’s Manor in Framingham for the outstanding care and support over the last 8 years. 
    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Sebastiao’s memory to the MA/NH Chapter, Alzheimer’s Assoc., 480 Pleasant St. , Watertown , MA 02472 or to St. Patrick’s Manor, 863 Central St., Framingham, MA 01701.
