Richard R. “Bobbie” Foley, 70,

            Richard R. “Bobbie” Foley, 70, of Douglas formerly of Milford passed away surrounded by his loving family, Thursday, February 27, 2014 in his home. He was the husband of Elaine K. (Figueiredo) Foley of 43 years. He was born in Milford son of Angelina (Ianetti) Foley of Milford and the late John W. Foley Sr.  He lived in Milford most of his life before moving to Douglas in 2005.      Mr. Foley was a graduate of the St. Mary’s High school in Milford class of 1961, Worcester Junior College class of 1963 and attended Marietta College in Ohio.
       Mr. Foley retired in 2003 from the Department of Correction in Norfolk where he was employed as a corrections officer.  He was an avid Boston sports fan, and avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed his summers at Cape Cod with his wife. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.        
       In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughter Kelly and her husband Timothy DeMeo of Douglas, one brother John Foley Jr. of Milford, two grandchildren Alisia DeMeo and Anthony DeMeo both of Douglas. 
    He was predeceased by his son Scott R. Foley and his sister Carol DeManche.      
    The funeral service and burial will be at the convenience of the family.   
   Arrangements are under the direction of the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St.
