Alfred C. Feccia, 64, of McKinney TX, formerly of Milford, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2014 at Centennial Medical Center in Frisco, TX. He was the loving husband of Irene C. (Grodzke) Feccia of over 40 years. He was born in Milford, son of the late Alfred and Alice Pauline (Anderson) Feccia. He later resided in Framingham and Sherborn, MA, as well as Laguna Niguel, CA for many years before moving to McKinney, TX in 2013. Alfred was a graduate of the Milford High School class of 1968, and a graduate of The Franklin Institute of Technology in Boston in 1970. Alfred retired in 2011 from Worldwide Tech Services, formerly Wang Laboratories, where he was employed as a computer service engineer for over 25 years. In his early years, he was an avid automotive racing enthusiast, and had lifelong interests in mechanics, electronics and home improvement projects. Alfred touched the lives of everyone who met him. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Throughout his illness, he was an active participant in his own care. He researched countless avenues of treatment in partnership with his doctors. This was a testament to his resilient spirit and a positive attitude.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Farah and her husband Joseph Kelsey of Allen TX, and Adam Feccia and his wife, Lauren of Hermosa Beach, CA. He also leaves behind two sisters, Sandra and husband Edward Parady of Hubbardston, Janet Langenberg of Framingham, two beautiful and loving grandchildren, Brooke Kelsey and Olivia Kelsey, as well as many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 9 AM from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. Milford MA. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main St., Milford. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM.
