Jeanne M. "Bonnie" (Ryan) Humber, 58

Jeanne M. "Bonnie" (Ryan) Humber, 58, longtime resident of Dennis, Massachusetts, passed away suddenly on July 30, 2014. She is survived by her son Matthew J. Humber and former husband , Joseph E. "Ted" Humber Jr., both of Dennis, Massachusetts. Bonnie was born in Westborough, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Jeanne M. Dugan and the late James J. Ryan, Sr., stepdaughter of the late Richard P. Duffy, Sr. Sister of the late James J. Ryan, Jr. and late Kevin E. Duffy of Westborough, Michael F. Ryan and Francis E. Ryan both of Westborough, MA. Kathleen Burnett Ozella, Richard "Patrick" Duffy, Jr., and Barbara Duffy Peirce and their families, all of Dennis, MA. Kenneth Burnett of Medway, MA and William C. Richardson, Jr. of Northbridge, MA.
Bonnie was a graduating member of the Westborough High School Class of 1974. She held an Associate’s Degree from Fisher Junior College and was a former employee of Cape Cod Hospital, Jordan Marsh and Filene’s. Bonnie especially enjoyed the 17 years she spent working at Hart’s Farm in Dennisport. Bonnie enjoyed gardening, bird watching and the Cape beaches. But, above all, she loved spending time with family and numerous friends.
She was a loyal friend to many, and an active member of Cape Cod Veterans Inc. Known as very generous and caring, Bonnie often assisted those in need with rides to medical appointments. When being treated for breast cancer herself, she would unselfishly forfeit her treatment time for an elder.  Bonnie will be dearly missed by all that loved and knew her for her kind heart and caring ways.
Calling hours will be held at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home at 46 Water St, Milford on Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 9:30 – 11:00 AM with burial to follow at Noon at St. Lukes Cemetery in Westborough, Massachusetts.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bonnie’s memory to Cape Cod Veterans, Inc., P.O. Box 81, Dennisport, MA 02639; Wounded Warriors, or another charity of your choice.

My children have lost their closest Aunt and Godmother. You were always there for them. I lost a loving sister and dear friend. Despite occasional differences, we were always sisters and had each others back. My door was always open, no appointment needed. You are safe now and no one can hurt you anymore. Everything happens for a reason. Now I know why God placed me back on the Cape. It allowed us 6 years together, in preparation for this. Until we meet again, I hope your spirit will watch over us, along with our other dearly departed family members. Love and miss you!
