Rosalie A. (Tomaso) Hynes, 74,

Rosalie A. (Tomaso) Hynes, 74, passed away on January 2, 2015 surrounded by her loving family and friends at Countryside Healthcare of Milford, following a courageous four year battle with ALS.  She was the beloved wife of 50 years of William G. Hynes who passed away in 2012.  Rosalie was born in Milford.  She was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Bellantuoni) Tomaso.  She attended Sacred Heart of Jesus Grammar School and graduated from Milford High School’s Class of 1957.  Rosalie was employed at Dennison Mfg. Co., Draper Corporation where she met her husband, Bill. She also was a long-time employee of the Big D Supermarket and Time Savers.  She was a long-time member and past president of The Hoboken Citizen’s Club Auxiliary, and a communicant of St Mary’s of the Assumption Parish.  Her interests and favorite pastimes were bocce, playing cards, casino trips, traveling, and socializing with family and friends.  She was extremely fond of her association with friends that called themselves The Golden Girls, and also her circle of 12 Friends whose relationships date back to the first grade at Sacred Heart School.
Rosalie is survived by four sons:  William and his wife Shelley, Paul and his wife Cathy, Sean and his fiancée Lisa, David and his wife Jessica, six grandsons, five granddaughters, one great granddaughter, her brother Charles Tomaso and his wife Pamela, her sister-in-law Dorothy (Hynes) DePardo and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral will be held January 7, 2015 from the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St, Milford, MA, followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10 AM in St Mary’s of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter St, Milford, MA.  Burial will immediately follow in the parish cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on January 6, 2015 from 4 to 8 PM at Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank the staff and administration of Countryside Healthcare and Life Choice Hospice for the loving care given to Rosalie throughout her illness.
Memorial donations may be made to Life Choice Hospice and Palliative Care, 15 Midstate Dr, Suite 215, Auburn, MA 01501 or Countryside Healthcare of Milford, 1 Countryside Dr, Milford, MA 01757, Attn:  Residence Activity Fund.
