Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home

Regina Rose Carrachino (Grillo),

Regina Rose Carrachino (Grillo), the kindest soul, entered into rest January 17, 2015 at the age of 73, surrounded by her loving family. Reggie was the daughter of the late John “Nate” and Mary Grillo. She was born in Milford on November 3, 1941. Reggie, an only child, learned the importance of working hard and taking care of her family. She graduated from Milford High School in 1959 and attended The Chandler School for Women in Boston and Cosmetology School in Worcester. With hard work and determination, Reggie opened Reggie’s Beauty Boutique, which she owned and operated for over 48 years with her devoted husband Stephen Carrachino of 29 years. Reggie enjoyed traveling to St. Maarten, going to dinner on Saturday nights, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and close friends. She was a devoted and loving person who warmed the hearts of all who met her. She was the loving mother of Marisa Consigli and her husband Andrew of Hopedale, Matthew Tennaro and his fiancé Abby of Blackstone, and John Tennaro and his wife Christina of Milford. She was the cherished grandmother of Nate Consigli, John Tennaro, and Samantha Tennaro.
The funeral and celebration of Reggie’s life will be held January 23, 2015 at 9 A.M. from the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St, Milford, MA, followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10 A.M. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main Street, Milford, MA.
Burial will immediately follow in the parish cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 4 to 8 PM at Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank the staff at Brigham and Women’s Hospital for their loving care during her stay.

Just the other day I was speaking via text to our cousin Paul Milani when I was told of Reggie's passing. I was beyond shock! I was a second cousin on the Scipione side of the family. We first met in 2001 at Paul's home for a family reunion. She was such a lovely gal and very personable. I live on the other side of the country and didn't see or have contact with her and I regret that. My deepest condolences to Stephen and her three children. Rest in Heaven dear cugina...until we meet again.

I was so sorry to hear the sad news. I worked for Reggie from 1979 to 1981, when I moved to Milford from PA. I loved her! I have thought about that part of my life quite often. She made it special for me. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends.
Faye Weidner

Dear Steve, Marisa, Matt and John I am truly saddened to hear about the loss of Reggie. She was truly a bright ray of shining light on this earth, always working so hard with that beautiful smile on her face while sharing so much pride in her husband and family. May the memories that live on in your heart provide some comfort to you during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Michelle Wojick

Steve, Marisa, Matt, John & families, Reggie was a part of my family before I was, I think. She was the 4th sister and the 3rd hairdresser, along with my sisters. I'll always remember her little sports car, and going to her house for coffer after the kids went off to their first day of school. So animated when she told a story, her laughter was contagious. When she was around, you wanted to be around her. Her eyes were so blue and mesmerizing, you could get hypnotized looking at them. But you knew she was checking out your hair while she was talking! All of us who knew her and considered her a friend will miss her terribly. A brilliant light has dimmed. Love to all..

Dear Steve,Marissa, Matt, John, and Family, There are no words to express the saddness we feel losing my cousin Reggie so suddenly. I know there will be a big void in your lives, but I also know there is a little piece of her in each of you. She was very proud of you and loved you all.....Keep her memory alive through your children and in time you will heal. Stay strong...know we are family and here for each other. Sending love and sympathy to all of you Cousin Dawnette & Mike Niro Fort Myers, Fl.

Reggie was like a second Mom to me growing up and always made me part of the family. No matter if Matt and I were grounded together or just causing triouble and not getting caught... Yet I was always welcomed and loved. I have so many great memories of my time at her home with Matt. Reggie had a great heart, warm unforgettable smile and a loving mom. I am still in shock and greatly saddened. To the family we Pray your hearts are full of fond memories and love and in time can bring the tears and heartache to laughter and smiles remembering just how much you were cared for and loved. Much love to each one of you!! Brendan, Denise and Nathaniel

So many accolades, words of praise, words expressing sorrow, love, and yet none of us will ever be able fully to describe this wonderful woman's loving personality. I knew Reg since Junior High, lived across the street from her, spent every Friday night with her after work, in our younger years, baby sat her 2nd son, Mat as an infant. Along with Reggie will be buried a "PERFECT" heart. We all share the wonderful feeling of knowing our Reggie; also the sadness of losing her. She takes with her the love of everyone she met in her brief years here on earth. Be at peace, sweetie! Now, every time I see an angel's picture, I'll think to myself, "Did Reggie do her hair"? See you soon! Mary, Vincent, Michael Mary S (Ricci) Chiarenza

Reggie loved her family so much. Her kids, all her grandchildren and her beloved Steve were immensely and unconditionally loved by her. Dear Steve, Marisa and Family, David and I send our heartfelt sympathy to you for the painful loss you are suffering. Reggie was such a staple of the Milford community. I remember her as far back as the long, gone days at the bank when I was very young. We didn't know her well, however, her great reputation preceded her; and, I felt I grew to "know" her through the various pictures and narratives you have shared over the years Marisa. Keeping you all in our prayers and thoughts. Our deepest sympathy, David and Janice (Caracino) Allegrezza "When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure." -Author Unknown
