Rafael O. Matos,

   Rafael O. Matos, passed away August 8, 2015 at the Blair House of Milford surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Sarah L. (Moises) Matos for 37 years. He was born in Aveiro, Portugal son of the late Jose and Maria Matos and moved to Milford in 1988. Mr. Matos was the owner and operator of the RCM Construction in Milford until his retirement in 1992.  He was a member of the Milford Portuguese Club.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Raquel and her husband Carlos A. Stecher of Wilmington, Laurinda Abreu and Maria Matos both of Ontario Canada, one sister Noemia Rebelo of Portugal.
He was predeceased by his brother Orlando Matos and his sisters, Hilda Matos, Alicia Matos and Sara Matos.  
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 4 to 8 PM at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St.  
 A graveside service will be held Wednesday August 12, 2015 at 11 A.M. in the Vernon Grove Cemetery on Depot St. Milford.
