Gregorio Campisano, 71
Gregorio Campisano, 71, of Milford, passed away October 11, 2015 at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington MA. He was the husband of the late Giuseppina (Catrambone) Campisano for 48 years before her passing in September.
Born in Gasperina, Italy, he was the son of the late Mario and Caterina Campisano, and moved to Milford in 1973.
Mr. Campisano retired in 2010 after many years as an accomplished and talented stone mason. He was an avid gardener, loved cooking lasagna and meatballs, and was a member of the Laborers Union, Local 609. He was also known for putting himself last, and caring for everyone else first.
He is survived by his children, Mario Campisano and his wife Alison of GA, Rina and her husband Andrew Mullen of Georgetown MA, and Natalie Shadwell of Haverhill. Brother of Francesco, Pepe, and Rosina Campisano, all of Italy, he is also survived by four grandchildren, Charles Mullen, Spencer Mullen, Lillian Mullen and Chloe Campisano, many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Friday, October 16, 2015 at 9 A.M. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St., Milford, MA, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 A.M. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 7 East Main St. Milford MA. The burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA.
Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4 to 7 P.M.
