Donald F. Hickey Sr., 79,

  Donald F. Hickey Sr. 79, of Blackstone, MA passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday November 21, 2015.  He was the longtime companion of Annette Lussier.  He was born in Milford son of the late John J. and Mary (Sayles) Hickey.  He attended St. Mary’s School in Milford and was a Korean War (Army) Veteran. 
Mr. Hickey retired in 1979 from the former Draper Corporation in Hopedale where he was employed for many years as a machinist. 
He is survived by his children Donald F. Hickey Jr. and his wife Loretta of Hopkinton, Kathleen and her husband Kevin Moore of Concord NH, Kim and her husband Joseph Poirier of Hopedale and Karen Chiarello of Hopedale.  One sister Helen and her husband Joseph A. Pratt Sr. of Milford and five granddaughters Kaitlyn and her husband Patrick Morris of Bedford NH, Erin Moore and her fiancé Cory Woods of Manchester, NH, Julianne Poirier of Hopedale, Jennifer and Sarah Chiarello of Hopedale. 
He was predeceased by his brother and sisters, Joseph F. Hickey, Dorothy Cutter, Sally (DelCastello) Booth and Mary Burns.   
 A funeral Mass will be held Saturday December 5, 2015 at 10 A.M. at the St. Mary of the Assumption Church on Winter Street in Milford.  Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.  There are no calling hours.   
 Arrangements are under the direction of the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water Street Milford, MA.
