Barbara your Mum was such a remarkable and impressive Lady of so many achievements. Notwithstanding her exceptional career she also found time to raise a large family, study and volunteer. Sadly she is a great loss to you and many others. I extend my sympathy to you. Although unfortunately I did not meet her, her story is and will be an inspiration for me, particularly studying at 80.
R. Henry Garwood

"Aunt" Barbara and family, I'm sending our deepest condolences on behalf of my family here in Texas. I will always remember visiting my "Uncle" Bucky and "Auntie" Edie as a young boy with my family when we were in MA spending time with Gram Helen. I know that Edie is happy to be back at Bucky's side, together in peace with Our Heavenly Father. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and all of our family back home.

Peter and family, I am very sorry to hear about your Mom. I will always remember her big smile when she greeted me. She was very interesting and boy....could she ever sew!! Jane's wedding dress was breathtaking and she taylored many of my own clothes when she worked in Franklin with a local seamstress! Great family, she will be missed!
