We were so sorry to hear of Ginny"s passing. The lights on the Vineyard are a little dimmer because she is no longer with us. Our deepest condolences to her family and will remember her in our prayers.

To The Peterson Family, I just discovered Ginny's obituary and I am heartbroken. She was such a wonderful lady and My family loved her like one of our own. My Mom, Betty Mathias shared many good times with her while visiting Florida. Love to you all, Allyson Mathias Needham

Ginny was a joy to know. Always had a smile for everyone. One day she called me over and said something smelled funny in the house. The rug under the table was wet and smelled mold. I told her I would go get my husband to help but she stopped a stranger walking by and got him to help me. The next day her new friend was chatting with her on the porch. That was Ginny a friend to everyone. RIP Diva you were one in a million. Love Tom and Connie Glad

A delightful person with a great sense of humor! Spent many a day on the porch with lots of parties and jokes. She was a wonderful swimmer and a huge part of our beach girls. We will all miss that lively spirit! Ginny you will always be on that porch as we pull up to the dinghy dock💗 RIP my friend, keep laughing and swimming! Steve and Elaine DePaola

I have just finished writing one of the 'Beach Girls' who were such a huge part of my mom's life. They celebrated life in so many ways and help her and my dad through so many of life's trials. There was a pig that was 'stolen' and showed up in Florida, New England and may have even made it to Europe... There was Mr Southwester... The Thalidian man (spelling?)... on the up stauirs porch of the Vineyard House. There was always someone showing up with wine, cheese and a spontaneous party... I'll take this to facebook but if you are a beach girl welcome to the party!

I saw a cardinal this morning in a tree outside my window & it reminded me of the many times Ginny & I would watch the birds land in the evergreen trees outside the Woodland Road house. She would say it is Ritchie checking up on me & would smile and talk about the many wonderful times she spent with her beloved. When I think about the times that Ginny would say to me "you are like the daughter I never had" & "I'm so thankful you came into our lives", it brings tears to my eyes. We never missed an opportunity to laugh & enjoy a moment. Ginny, you know how much I adored you & I will miss you every day. I will be looking for the cardinals-when I see the one acting like the Diva, I will smile and know you had something to do with it. I love you always.

Ginny was an amazing woman who always had a story to tell. They didn't call her "Diva" for nothing! She made me feel like I belonged after my mom married into the Peterson family and I will never forget the laughs and fun times I shared with her. Heaven has certainly gained another angel <3 RIP

I remember the first time I brought Nonnie no-bake cookies, lets just say they were now her favorite cookie. I would play checkers with her and she never let me win. We would go on walks and she kept dragging me along cause she was so motivated. All the memories I have of this wonderful, care-free, sweet woman will be cherished forever. I wish the family the best during this time, I hope you heal peacefully and know she is with us in spirit. We will see her in every laugh and smile we have. Thank you for all the good memories Nonnie.
Duke (thanks for the nickname!)
My condolences go out the the family of "Ginny"
She will now be an angel to look over her loved ones from up above. Her suffering is over and I hope all fond memories of her will help you to get through the tough days that occur when you lose a loved one. My daughter, Laurie, is married to Dale and I only knew Ginny for a short time and was sorry to learn that she had passed away.

The memories I have with you are unforgettable, Nonnie! You showed me the true meaning of life and happiness. We had a bond and connection that noone would ever understand. You were the sweetest and most genuine person, making sure you always left a positive impression. No matter where you were or who you were with you always were the center of attention. I will forever think of you and you will always be in my heart. I love you more than you will ever know! Thank you for being the Diva you were born to be! (don't worry Nonnie, I am taking over your Diva status hehe!) XOXO
