William Criasia, 84,

          William Criasia, 84, of Milford, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016 in the Lydia Taft House in Uxbridge. He was the former husband of the late Arlene (DeSantis) who passed away in 2007. He was born in Brooklyn NY, son of the late Michael and Rose (Galdorisi) Criasia and move to Milford in 1950. He was educated in the Brooklyn NY schools. He was an US Army Veteran. Mr. Criasia retired in 1975 from Medfield State Hospital where he was employed as an orderly.   
 He was an avid sportsmen and enjoyed his trips to Maine.
He is survived by his children, William Criasia of Hopedale, Debbie Tessicini of Hopedale, one brother Richard Criasia of Douglas, one sister Grace Travis of Milford, one granddaughter Jamie Dostoomian and one great-grandson John Dostoomian both of Tewsksbury, also his companion of 35 years, Joan Powers.
He was predeceased by his brother Anthony Criasia.   
A funeral home service will be held Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 6 P.M. at Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. The burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Calling hours are Thursday from 4 to 6 P.M.

So sad for our family. I have great memories with Uncle Bill. He was always smiling. Had a fun (and fresh) sense of humor! We laughed!! Now he can spread his smiles to those we have already lost...RIP Uncle Bill.
