Manuel Esteves, 95,

Manuel Esteves, 95, of Milford, passed away June 20, 2016 at the Milford Regional Medical Center. He is the husband of Julia D. (Silva) Esteves for 70 years.
He was born in Ludlow MA, son of the late Antonio and Virginia (Pires) Esteves and grew up in Portugal before returning to Milford in 1940. He retired in 1987 from the General Motors Corporation in Framingham where he was employed as an assembler. Prior to his employment at General Motors he was employed as a moulder at the former Draper Corp. in Hopedale.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughters, Teresa and her husband Harold Nelson, Eilleen and her husband Arthur Krikorian all of Milford, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral and burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours Arrangements are under the direction of the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. Milford MA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Milford Regional Medical Center 20 Prospect St. Milford MA 01757
