Nicholas A. Santoro, 89,

            Nicholas A. Santoro, 89, of Milford, passed away October 12, 2023 at the Milford Regional Medical Center. He was born in Milford, son of the late Anthony and Grace (Maffia) Santoro and was a lifelong Milford resident. He was a graduate of the Milford High School class of 1951. He was a U.S. Army veteran.  He retired in 1994 from customer service where he helped many people for over 23 years.

He was an avid ten pin bowler, loved to tell jokes, and enjoyed having coffee at the Milford Hospital coffee shop where he made many friends, a communicant at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.

He is survived by a nephew and cousins, and a good friend Mary Garrett of Sutton. He was predeceased by his sister Shirley Santoro who passed away in 2009.

A calling hour will be held Monday, October 23, 2023 from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. at the Consigli Ruggerio funeral Home 46 Water St. Milford, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at the 10 A.M. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 5 East Main St. The burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne MA with full military honors.
