Johanna M. (Cutropia) Tominsky, 88, of Leominster, MA, passed away October 28, 2023 at UMass Memorial Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born in Milford, MA to the late John and Louise Cutropia. She grew up in Milford, MA where she graduated from Milford High School. Johanna is survived by her husband, John A. Tominsky, of 69 years, also of Leominster, MA. She is also survived by her son, Paul Tominsky of Leominster, MA, her daughter, Susan (Tominsky) Jacobs, of Sterling, MA, her grandchildren, George and Sarah Jacobs of Sterling, MA, and beloved family pet, Daisy.
Johanna spent the majority of her life as an active resident of the Milford community, raising her family and socializing with lifelong friends. Her work experience included Brooks Pharmacy, Colonial Bank, and Commonwealth Gas Company (now Eversource) always enjoying lasting relationships with her co-workers. Upon retirement, Johanna and John moved to Las Vegas, NV where they enjoyed many years pursuing the big hit on the slot machines and in the Bingo Halls before moving to Leominster, MA to be closer to family. During her last years, her proudest moments were experienced through listening to and watching her grandchildren as they navigated into adulthood. Johanna was an avid New England Patriots fan.
The family would like to extend sincere appreciation and admiration to the doctors, nurses, and staff at UMass Memorial Simonds-Sinon Regional Cancer Center, Fitchburg, MA for their rigorous and compassionate care of Johanna during her illness.
