Raymond J. Garceau, 71, of Upton, passed away June 4, 2024 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston after a short illness. He was the husband of Julie A. (Brinkman) Garceau for 46 years. He was born in Milford son of the late Joseph and Lena (Fino) Garceau and lived most of his life in Milford before moving to Upton in 1978. He received a bachelors in business from Northeastern University.
Ray owned and operated Garceau Construction and Reality for many years. Ray enjoyed a challenge and would research all avenues for building or repairing mechanical, technical, plumbing, electrical projects on his own, both for himself and family and friends.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, LTC Cynthia Garceau of Maryland, Brett Garceau of Bellingham, and two grandchildren, Ella Grace Lambert and Eden Rose Lambert. Ray was always a dog lover, and his friends Penny and Grace will miss him dearly.
Calling hours will be held Monday, June 10 2024 from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home at 46 Water St. Milford, MA. A funeral home service will be held Tuesday June 11, 2024 at 10 A.M. The burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
