Gloria A. (Castagnoli) Cichanowicz, 87,

  Gloria A. (Castagnoli) Cichanowicz, 87, of Milford, passed away January 22, 2017 at Countryside Health Care in Milford. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Cichanowicz who passed away in 1981.  She was born in Milford daughter of the late Angelo and Catherine (Micelotti) Castagnoli and was a lifelong Milford resident. She was educated in the Milford schools.

Gloria retired in 1994 from the former Mammoth Mart and Kings Department stores where she was employed as a retail clerk. She also was employed at the former Lincoln Drug in Milford.  She was a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.

She is survived by her son Anthony Cichanowicz and his wife JoAnn of Millville, her daughter Helen and her husband James Carr of Carver, her foster daughter, Roxanne and her husband Nicholas Berardi of Uxbridge, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Aurelio Tassone and Nicholas Castagnoli, her sisters, Helen Amadea and Angela Castagnoli.

The funeral will be held Monday, January 30, 2017 at 9 A.M. from the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 A.M. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main St. The burial will follow in the Parish cemetery. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 5 to 7 P.M.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Milford Senior Center 60 North Bow St. Milford MA 01757
