John L. Pellegrini, 58, of Watertown, MA passed away peacefully on December 9, 2024. He was born in Boston, son of the late Joseph and Catherine “Butler” Pellegrini. John lived in Watertown his entire life. He was a graduate of Watertown High School Class of 1985. For years John was employed at Stop and Shop before moving on to VIP Tires and Service where he worked for many years before his passing.
For those of you who knew John, he was the happiest and most friendly person one could know. He was a huge Boston sports fan, especially of the Bruins and Celtics. John, along with his good friend Mike Barry, was an avid movie buff always the first to make it to the theater to see a new film. John was also known to travel all around to visit family or friends. Whether it was visiting relatives in Newton, vacationing with family and friends in Scituate or celebrating the holidays with his brothers, sister and close family in Milford, John never missed an event.
John is survived by his sister, Margaret “Peggy” Thomas and Paul Pellegrini and his wife Shenan of Milford. He was pre-deceased by his brothers David and Ricky Pellegrini. In addition to his siblings, he is survived by his nephews, Jeffrey Thomas of Raynham, Kevin Thomas of Sturbridge, Santino Pellegrini of Milford, and niece, Cae Pellegrini also of Milford. He is also survived by his great nephews Joey Thomas, Cameron Thomas, Eli Thomas and great niece, Mia Thomas.
A Mass will be held in remembrance of John on Wednesday March 19, 2025 at 10AM at Saint Patrick’s Church located at 212 Main Street in Watertown, MA.
