Marc Paul Fornaciari, 80

Marc Paul Fornaciari, 80

Marc Paul Fornaciari, 80, of Milford, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at Blaire House in Milford on January 8, 2026, after a brief illness.

Marc was born and raised in Milford, the son of Gabriele Fornaciari and Elentena (Mainini) Fornaciari. Marc grew up surrounded by a large, close-knit family that remained important to him throughout his life. Marc graduated from Milford High School in 1962, where he met his high school sweetheart Janice.

Marc was the devoted and loving husband of Janice Marie (Imbruno) Fornaciari.  Marc and Janice just celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary, once again ‘enjoying’ a piece of their original wedding cake from the freezer. Marc and Janice shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and partnership. Marc was a proud father to Danielle Marie Murphy and her husband Patrick, and Anthony Marc Fornaciari and Marc’s daughter-in-law Crystal Silva. Nothing brought Marc more joy than being “Papa” to his grandchildren, Campbell Murphy, Kennedy Murphy, Nash Fornaciari, Kayleigh and Natalie Silva.

Marc worked for Brunellis/Star Market for almost 40 years. He began as a store clerk, working his way up to seafood and deli manager and eventually a store manager. Marc received many honors for his dedication, strong work ethic, and the relationships he built with coworkers and customers alike. Marc retired at the age of 55, allowing him to spend time finding new adventures and taking mystery rides with his family.

Marc most loved spending time “making memories” with his wife, children, and grandchildren, enjoying everyday moments, day trips around New England and enjoying his children and grandchildren’s activities. Marc also treasured the many adventures, laughs, and lifelong relationships he shared with his friends. Marc was a dedicated communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Hopedale.

In his remaining spare time Marc was a prolific bowler, movie buff, Patriots fan and avid coin collector. You could also always see Marc around town with a fresh cup of coffee in his hand. He especially enjoyed his trips to Rhode Island, and finding new restaurants to take his friends and family to. His happiest moments were spending time with his family. Later in life Marc also took a keen interest in bird watching. Marc is survived by his sisters Veronica Glennon and Roberta Simmons, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Robert Fornaciari and Gabriele “Jibber” Fornaciari, and his sisters Bruna Casto and Paula Krill.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Consigli Funeral Home, 46 Water Street, Milford, MA. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Hopedale, Massachusetts.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made in Marc’s name to Homes for Our troops at https://www.hfotusa.org/.

Marc will be remembered for his kindness, loyalty, sense of humor, and the deep love he had for his family and friends. His legacy lives on in the memories he created and the lives he touched. Marc will be deeply missed and forever loved.
